Workers Compensation Dispute

The litigation section of the firm successfully assisted a local business defend a claim for worker’s compensation retaliation, in which the Plaintiff alleged she was terminated for making a worker’s compensation claim.  The Plaintiff’s demand was in excess of $100,000.  The firm was able to reveal weaknesses in the Plaintiff’s claim early on, and negotiate a settlement for a mere fraction of the demand, thereby saving the client significant expenses of further litigation and the distraction from litigation to its business.
